Here at Black Metal Firearms, we’ll build just about anything, but our true passion is the AR platform. This includes AR-15’s (5.56×45), AR-10’s (7.62×51), and many of the platforms other variations including the popularity gaining .300 AAC Blackout (7.62×35).
Why do we love the AR platform so much? There’s a number of reasons. The M16/M4 is the standard battle rifle for the U.S. Armed Forces as well as most federal, state and local law enforcement. In most cases parts for the M16/M4 are interchangeable with the AR-15. This means that during a major event like a natural disaster, zombie outbreak, or world war, parts and ammo will be widely available.
